Android OS Trivia

By Frank T. Newcrest

By now you've probably heard about the Google phone. You have heard a lot about the new Google phones but haven't researched them for details yet. The truth is that a Google phone is simply a phone that runs the Android OS (also known as the Android Operating System). The similarities between the Google phone and other phones are stops there.

After the article about spy on text messages that we wrote this seemed like a good followup topic.

This is exactly the type of article we love to write about. I think it's a good followup to our piece on spy on texts.

This is important for people who do not want to be confined to just one or two choices for their cell phones. Customers will enjoy being able to custom fit their Google phone to meet the needs of everyday personal or business life. You aren't forced to use systems you don't like or services you don't need. You now have the freedom to create the phone that best fits your personality.

If you are not thrilled with the iPhone handset that is pretty much too bad. You do have some options available to you if you don't want to use the standard Blackberry headset. If you aren't happy with one of the handsets that uses the Android OS you have plenty of other options to choose from. Google phones are your best bet if you like having lots of choices available to you. This is true because all of the most important cell phone manufacturers are implementing the Android OS for their phones so that, no matter what kind of handset you want, you'll be able to find a Google phone that uses it.

It is Android's multi-tasking ability and the fact that users can access more than one app at a time that makes the Android phone just as popular as the iPhone. With the iPhone you can only use one app at a time (though it is possible to use them at the same time as any or all of the phone's basic functions like phone calling, music playing and internet browsing). That illustrates pretty much the only multi-tasking the phone is capable of doing. An Android phone, on the other hand can run a Twitter app as well as a note taking app with no problems at all.

Look for an android phone next time you travel to another company you will likely find more than one. Do you know if your phone is using the Android OS? The Android OS is more widely used than might think, the only exceptions are the iPhone and Blackberry smartphones.

Choosing your next cellular phone used to be easy. You probably just accepted your free upgrade from your provider. Now you might be apt to choose your cellular provider based solely on the types of phones it will sell to you. The great news is that, because of the Android OS, you are able to have the smart phone you want no matter which provider you like the best. Isn't that just music to your ears?

How Much Do You Know About Android OS Phones?

By Frank T. Newcrest

Cellular phone developers for all of the major networks have started using the Android OS for their phones. You've probably read the articles that say the "Google phones" are highly competitive against the other smart phones out there. It is certainly true that the Google phones are becoming more and more popular. This could be attributed to the fact that the Google phones that are being promoted have all been modeled after the smart phones that have already achieved popularity. This shows that Google pays attention to trends and buying practices and tries to give the public what it wants. Here are some fun facts about the Android OS phones that you might not have heard.

As you know we love to write about this sort of thing! When I wrote about spying on text messages I immediately thought about covering this topic.

I'm excited about writing about this subject and I hope it's helpful. I got a few questions after my article about spy on text messages.

People who don't like their iPhone handsets are pretty much out of luck. If you aren't happy with your Blackberry headset you have a few options to choose from. If you decide that you don't like one of the handsets that uses the Android OS you have a lot of other options to choose from. If you want to have a lot of different choices you'll want to choose a Google phone. You will have these choices because all of the major phone manufacturers are starting to adopt the Android OS for their phones so, no matter what kind of handset you like, you'll find a Google phone that fits it.

Being able to multi-task between applications is a major selling point that helps Android compete against the crazily popular iPhones. IPhone users can only access one app at a time, though it is possible to multi task that one app with any or all of the basic phone functions: calls, music and internet. That illustrates pretty much the only multi-tasking the phone is capable of doing. The Android phones, however, can run multiple apps with no problems at all.

We can think of a whole bunch of reasons to choose an Android phone over the other smart phones that are being sold right now. Simply put: the Android OS is great! We don't say this just because we're fans; we say it because it is true. Updates are available all the time for the Android OS and, because the system is based on open source technology, anybody and everybody is welcome to develop apps and other features for it. Any day now, the Android phone is going to surpass its smart phone competitors and become the most popular phone available. Soon the Google phone will, no doubt, become at least as popular (if not more popular) than the "traditional" smart phone models.
